InnovoCars Limited respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and applicable international standards. This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal data across our website, mobile applications, marketplace, charging services, and related digital platforms.

This Policy applies to website visitors, registered users, vehicle buyers, dealers, fleet customers, service centre customers, charging station users, financing applicants, job applicants, suppliers, and business partners.

Personal Information:

Full name, date of birth, national ID or passport number, driver's licence details, residential and postal address, phone number, email address, occupation, employer information, and tax identification number where applicable.

Account, Payment & Vehicle Information:

Username and encrypted password; bank/mobile money details, billing address, and transaction history (InnovoCars does not store full payment card numbers); and vehicle identification data such as VIN, registration details, purchase and service history, warranty records, charging history, and vehicle diagnostics where connected services are enabled.

Technical & Location Information:

IP address, browser and device information, operating system, clickstream and usage data, and error logs are collected automatically. GPS, charging-station, delivery, or test-drive location data is collected only where permission has been granted; users may disable location services through device settings.

Through website and app forms, marketplace registrations, vehicle reservations and purchases, test-drive bookings, customer support interactions, cookies and analytics tools, business partners, social media integrations, and public records where legally permitted.

We process personal information to create accounts, verify identity, process purchases and payments, arrange delivery, provide warranty and charging services, respond to enquiries, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations, and improve the Platform.

Processing is based on user consent, contractual necessity, legal obligation, legitimate business interest, or protection of vital interests, as applicable.

Information may be disclosed to payment processors, banks and financing institutions, vehicle manufacturers, logistics and delivery partners, insurance companies, government and regulatory authorities, legal advisers, auditors, cloud service providers, and charging network operators — only where legally permitted or required.

Personal information may be transferred outside Ghana where necessary for business operations, subject to appropriate safeguards.

InnovoCars applies encryption, secure servers, firewalls, multi-factor authentication, access controls, and incident-response procedures, while acknowledging that no electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Data is retained only as long as necessary for contractual, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes, then securely deleted or anonymised.

Subject to Ghanaian data protection law, you may:

• Access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information;

• Restrict or object to processing;

• Withdraw consent;

• Request data portability;

• Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.

Certain rights may be limited where continued processing is legally required.
